Need doggie installed in glass sliding door

I need to replace a door handle however it was an older style that couldn’t be replaced exactly. Required to cut hole in door to fit new handle (the hole in the centre is not wide enough and I don’t have the tools to do that)

The silicone seal along the base of the shower has failed, water running through the gap and into the adjacent hallway. Need an urgent repair as having carpet installed Monday and only just discovered the issue. Potentially a cove tile needed to ensure doesn’t happen again.
