This has caused the pergola to shift and put pressure on the house fascia, creating a long gap in the eaves. Work required: • Install temporary supports • Remove and replace rotten beam with new treated timber • Install new plates/fasteners • Realign pergola so it no longer presses against the house • Realign and secure house fascia • Refit or replace soffit/eaves sheet • Clear debris behind the eaves ⸻ 2️⃣ Garage Door Timber Post Replacement The timber post/jamb on one side of the roller door is rotten and currently holding the track and opener bracket. This needs to be replaced. I have an ikea VIGDAL ceiling curtain rail to afford to the ceiling which is wooden. We do not have the required screws. Ceiling is 3.3m high so need a ladder and a hacksaw to shorten the rail to the correct width (96cm)
