Looking for a gas cooktop technician to take a look and fix our gas cooktop in Templestowe. The front “Wok” burner clicks but doesn’t ignite, while the other three burners are working fine. Hoping it’s a simple fix – possibly the igniter, switch, or a cleaning issue. The cooktop is otherwise in good condition. The brand is Omega and it’s a 60cm gas four burner cooktop. Remove old gas stove and replace with new Bosch PVS831HC1E (7kW) electric (7kW) 80cm induction cooktop. There should be minimal need to alter bench cutout, but will need new supply cable back to switchboard (approx.20m). Timber floor - on stumps. I have the new stovetop at home.

Bosch uno gas stove top ( see pix). The flame fire is yellowish and too strong. Need to check internal and change valve or whatever. After that , replace my current Siemens gas stove that had a chipped glass edge. ( see pix) with Bosch. Alternatively , if don’t repair Bosch gas stove , then dismantle Siemens gas stove unit ( which is working well ) to swap on Bosch glass top.

Blanco (900mm) gas cooktop requires repair and maintenance. Left two burners no longer ignite.

Need keep pressing the knobs to keep the fire on, when you loose the pressing knobs ,the fire will be out. You need try several time then the fire could keep on after lifting you hand
