I have approximately 94m² of hybrid vinyl flooring to lay throughout the house. It’s a floating click-lock system, so the job is largely measuring, cutting to size and interlocking the boards. Looking for an experienced flooring installer to install hybrid flooring throughout my apartment. Apartment floor area is approximately 97m². Full empty no furniture in the way. Hybrid flooring and threshold trims will be supplied by me. Any required adhesives, silicone, sealant, equipment (mallet, spacers, planers, cutting equipment, laser levels, etc) to be supplied by you. Scope of work: - Install hybrid flooring throughout the apartment (currently tiles throughout and timber/hybrid floor in two rooms) - Carefully remove existing skirting boards with minimal damage before installation and refit them afterwards, covering the required perimeter expansion gaps - Allow for all required expansion gaps/joints - Install neat transition/threshold trims at doorways where required - Check doorway and door clearances and undercut/trim doors where required (I don’t think this needs to be done though) - Neatly finish flooring around door jambs, cabinetry and other fixed elements - remove installation offcuts/waste on completion. The existing substrate is level and I am not expecting significant preparation or floor levelling work.

This is just for 1 average sized bedroom. Summary of the jobs that need to be done: 1. Disassembly (partial) of bed and moved to another room - I will help with this 2. Removal and disposal of carpet and crap underneath, I can also help with this 3. Sanding and refinishing the floorboards and finding the correct stain and varnish to match the floorboards around the rest of the house. I will of course pay for the varnish and any materials needed for this. I also have random orbital sander if this helps. The part that I really need help with is refinishing the floorboards after the carpet is removed, and making sure the new varnish perfectly matches the other floorboards in the house.
