We have prepared the floors in two very small bedrooms, and now need someone to lay the flooring. Also we want to replace a shower head and need someone with ute to take some rubbish away including the old carpets

We need 65sqm of engineered timber fitted (Hurford genuine oak), stick down method, all floor is prepped, door jambs and skirting done, we have the glue Sodul SMX-30, trims supplied. Must have ABN, QBCC and insurance with experience in this flooring type.

The person who has been booked in for our floor installation could not do the job now due to some personal circumstances. We need help with the installation about 100m2 for the whole house including 4 bedrooms, kitchen,2 livings and a small dining , one toilet , and laundry as shown on the floor plan. We have the materials ready.

We have a our floor covered with interlocking rubber tiles at the moment, however we would like to install a wood look floating floor (eg. vinyl tiles or similar). Is approximately 40m2. The space already has existing underlay in the green section of the attached floor plan. The yellow section is timber, and would need underlay (which we could supply). Purple section includes a small bathroom (no shower), which has an existing vinyl floor, that scoops up the wall for waterproofing. See additional photos for some of the office space too. Happy to discuss price further. We would likely supply the tiles ourselves.

Still looking for a hardwood floor installer. I am replacing the carpets in four bedrooms with hardwood flooring (not engineered). The wood is spotted gum 130mm x 19mm. The total floor area of the four bedrooms (including wardrobes) is approximately 60-65sqm. I already have the flooring and the glue. I do not have the nails but I can get or I can pay for whatever you buy. The hardwood is tongue and groove. We take ownership of the house in Gilston on 25 June and are looking to start installation ASAP so we can then start painting and move in. This is just for 1 average sized bedroom. Summary of the jobs that need to be done: 1. Disassembly (partial) of bed and moved to another room - I will help with this 2. Removal and disposal of carpet and crap underneath, I can also help with this 3. Sanding and refinishing the floorboards and finding the correct stain and varnish to match the floorboards around the rest of the house. I will of course pay for the varnish and any materials needed for this. I also have random orbital sander if this helps. The part that I really need help with is refinishing the floorboards after the carpet is removed, and making sure the new varnish perfectly matches the other floorboards in the house.

Full sand and stain required for our original hard wooden floorboards. We have renovated our house and kitchen floor had vinyl so there’s glue and marks to be removed. Cabinets and kitchen will be complete by end of May, so 10th June start date would be good. Realise in person quote will be required prior to starting job.
