Install 12mm thick laminate flooring over existing carpet. Have started the install, about 30sqm left. We are aware it’s not optimal to install over carpet but we are renting and it only has to “last” for a yr or so. Anything not to live with carpet in living/dining with our toddler!

Lay and cut 12mm thick laminate flooring ontop of existing carpet to suit a living/dining room of approx 35-40sqm. Install trim to tiled hallway and kitchen opening. Need help installing laminate floor boards in my garage today. 28m squared. Must have tools to cut peace's to size for edges. Underlay and soctia as well. Pretty simple job, no doors apart from the main garage door so only one transition. I'll be helping so don't think it will take more than 4h but if it does will pay $70/ hour for the extra time.
