Internal timber staircase, ground to first floor, exactly 15 steps - all 15 to be done (photo attached). Winding staircase; the bottom 4 treads are large and curved. Job: light sand (scuff-sand) and recoat the varnished tops of the treads, including the rounded front edge of each tread - not a full strip back to bare timber. The painted fronts (risers) are not to be touched - please mask them. 2 coats of clear varnish to match the existing finish. We live upstairs, so please plan the coats so we can still get up and down (e.g. odd steps one day, even steps the next). Available Saturday or Sunday, weekday evenings, or Tuesday/Wednesday from 7 am, over the next 4 weeks. In your offer please include: (1) product you'd use, (2) number of visits/days, (3) public liability insurance, (4) photos of similar work.

Hi there, We are looking for an experienced installer to install laminate flooring in our home. Project details: Approximately 70m² including the living room, dining area, kitchen and laundry (bedrooms are not included). The existing floor is level ceramic tiles in good condition, and we would like the laminate installed directly over the tiles. 15 stairs, currently covered with carpet, also need to be finished with laminate. We will purchase all materials ourselves (laminate, underlay, trims, etc.), but we'd appreciate any recommendations on the best products for our project. We will move all furniture before installation, so no furniture moving is required. We are flexible with the installation date, but our preferred timeframe is mid-August. Please provide a labour-only quote and let us know: Your experience with laminate flooring installation. Whether you have experience installing laminate on stairs. Your workmanship warranty. Your estimated installation time. Please feel free to ask if you need any additional information. Photos and measurements can be provided. Thank you!
