Hi, I need a carpenter/handyman to inspect and repair a small section of timber decking that has rotted through. Some boards are soft, cracked, and have holes, so the area may be unsafe to walk on. Scope needed: * Inspect the damaged deck area and supporting joists underneath * Remove rotten/damaged boards * Replace with suitable outdoor treated timber/decking boards * Check if any joists/supports are also rotten and advise/repair if needed * Secure boards properly with outdoor screws * Dispose of old rotten timber * Match existing deck as closely as possible * Optional: apply outdoor seal/stain if recommended Please bring tools and advise what materials are needed, or include materials in your quote. We are replacing the flooring in our extension room, and after taking up the carpet it is clear we need to replace a sheet of the plywood subfloor before we can lay down the new flooring. We would like an experienced Carpenter to make this structural repair.

We own a home in Chermside West that has quite dark timber flooring and we are considering bleaching and refinishing the floors in a lighter colour. There is roughly 65sqm of wood floor to be bleached as the rest of the home is tiled. Our preference is for this process to commence on October 14 2024.
