Remove the fireplace （870 x 680) on brick wall in my living room, supply and lay smooth face bricks to cover the opening. Painting on the brickworks to match the existing wall. Paint is available.

We have just disconnected a word burning fire to move in along the wall. We would like the wall to be made into a feature wall with stone cladding. Ideally this will be the same person that reconnects the fireplace but does not have to be! Open to ideas

I need this fireplace to be bricked-in. The top course will probably need to come off - as is it sagging and needs to be flat for a mantel. I do not have spare bricks so some similar ones will need to be sourced. Would like this to be completed within the next 4 weeks. Thanks!
