We have an existing stage lighting setup in the area where our choir performs and where preaching takes place. However, we would like to improve the lighting to achieve a more professional, balanced and visually appealing result. Our main goal is to ensure the stage is properly illuminated and that our video recordings, livestreams and photographs are captured clearly, with good lighting and image quality. What we need help with: * Assessing our current stage lighting setup. * Adjusting and positioning the existing lights for better coverage. * Improving lighting for choir performances, preaching and video recording. * Eliminating unwanted shadows, uneven lighting and poor lighting conditions. * Recommending any additional lights or equipment if necessary. * Helping us achieve a clean, professional stage lighting setup. Ideally, we would like someone who has experience with church lighting, event production, stage lighting, theatre lighting or video production lighting. We’re looking for a lovely, capable person to join us for the day and help with our private marquee at the Bong Bong Races in Bowral. We’ll have around 15 guests, all a very friendly, relaxed group. The role is a mixture of helping us set up the marquee in the morning, RSA drinks service and light wait-staff duties during the day, and helping us pack everything down at the end. We’d love someone who: * Has a current NSW RSA * Is friendly, presentable and comfortable serving drinks (beer, wine and champagne) * Is reasonably fit and strong, as we’ll need an extra pair of hands carrying boxes and setting up and packing down * Is comfortable going up an A-frame ladder to help hang some decorations * Is happy to pitch in with things like arranging food and drinks, keeping the marquee tidy, topping up glasses and generally helping the day run smoothly. Guests will also pour their own drinks and help themselves to food. * Is ideally local to Bowral/Southern Highlands Hospitality or event experience would be great. A 4-step A-frame ladder would be incredibly helpful but is definitely not essential. If you have one you can bring with you, we’ll pay an extra $50 for the day. Pay is $50/hour. 9am-6pm working throughout = $450. If you’d prefer, you can take an optional one-hour unpaid break during the quieter part of the day = $400. Bring a suitable A-frame ladder = additional $50. Maximum payment $500. There is free parking on site. It should be a really fun day with a lovely group.
