Flemington Nursery Carpark – Stakes Day Setup & Pack-Down Looking for someone experienced with setting up sites in the Flemington Nursery Carpark for Stakes Day on Saturday 7 November 2026. We have two adjoining sites for approximately 40 people and need someone to handle the setup and pack-down. Saturday – Setup (approx. 1–2 hours): • Must have a van or suitable vehicle to transport everything. • Collect marquees, approximately 20 chairs, tables, eskies, drinks and food from our house. • Pick up ice on the way. • Drive into the Nursery Carpark (you will most likely need to use my VRC membership pass for entry, subject to VRC access requirements). • Set up marquees, tables, chairs and eskies. • Stock eskies with ice and drinks and arrange the food. • Have everything ready by 11 am. Sunday – Pack-down (approx. 1–2 hours): • Return to the Nursery Carpark. • Dismantle marquees and pack up all equipment. • Clean up both sites. • Transport everything back and drop it off at our house. We will supply all equipment, food and drinks. This is purely a transport, setup and pack-down job. Ideally looking for someone familiar with the Nursery Carpark who has done this before. We have an existing stage lighting setup in the area where our choir performs and where preaching takes place. However, we would like to improve the lighting to achieve a more professional, balanced and visually appealing result. Our main goal is to ensure the stage is properly illuminated and that our video recordings, livestreams and photographs are captured clearly, with good lighting and image quality. What we need help with: * Assessing our current stage lighting setup. * Adjusting and positioning the existing lights for better coverage. * Improving lighting for choir performances, preaching and video recording. * Eliminating unwanted shadows, uneven lighting and poor lighting conditions. * Recommending any additional lights or equipment if necessary. * Helping us achieve a clean, professional stage lighting setup. Food is catered (you do not need to serve) and will be brought on site and guests will self serve, drinks/acohol I will provide but are self serve. We’re after a simple, elegant setup in soft, neutral colours that looks lovely in photos, but nothing too extravagant or expensive. What we need: - Teddy bear themed decorations in neutral colours. - A backdrop and balloon garland for photos. - A styled cake or dessert table, if possible. - All decorations, props and materials to be supplied by you. - Complete setup and installation before 10 am. - Pack down and removal of all decorations and materials after the event, around 2–3 pm. We don’t currently have any decorations, so you’ll need to bring everything required for the setup, install it yourself and return to dismantle and remove everything afterwards.
