We are looking for an experienced stage lighting technician or someone with professional lighting setup experience to assist us at our church in Lynbrook, VIC. We have an existing stage lighting setup in the area where our choir performs and where preaching takes place. However, we would like to improve the lighting to achieve a more professional, balanced and visually appealing result. Our main goal is to ensure the stage is properly illuminated and that our video recordings, livestreams and photographs are captured clearly, with good lighting and image quality. What we need help with: * Assessing our current stage lighting setup. * Adjusting and positioning the existing lights for better coverage. * Improving lighting for choir performances, preaching and video recording. * Eliminating unwanted shadows, uneven lighting and poor lighting conditions. * Recommending any additional lights or equipment if necessary. * Helping us achieve a clean, professional stage lighting setup. Ideally, we would like someone who has experience with church lighting, event production, stage lighting, theatre lighting or video production lighting. Looking for help setting up 10 tables and approximately 100 chairs, and putting on table covers for my engagement. Setup is at 3:30 pm. You’ll need to return around 9:30 pm to remove the covers and pack away the tables and chairs. No need to stay in between. Everything will be provided at the hall.

Looking for 2 reliable, experienced event/hospitality helpers for our wedding reception in Tooradin on Saturday 27 February 2027. Approximately 180 guests. We are having a buffet dinner and need two people to help keep the food service and venue running smoothly. Approx. 4:00pm–11:00pm (final hours to be confirmed). I’m looking for someone to help with kitchen clean-up and tidying at a relaxed 40th birthday dinner at my home. Hours are 6pm–9pm (3 hours). Main tasks include clearing dishes after dinner, loading/unloading the dishwasher, hand washing where needed, wiping kitchen benches, and keeping the kitchen tidy throughout the evening. Most items will be disposable. This is not a cooking role — all food will already be prepared (spit roast meats and salads). I may also need occasional help keeping drinks topped up for guests (soft drinks, champagne/beer) if needed. The aim is simply to take pressure off me as the host so I can enjoy the night with guests. Must be comfortable working in a busy social home environment. Previous hospitality or event experience is preferred but not essential.
