Hi! I run an event styling business in Sydney and I’m looking for reliable event styling assistants for ongoing casual work. Work will vary between events and may include: • Event setup & pack down • Artificial floral arranging/styling • Backdrops, draping, plinths & props • Centrepieces, candles & table styling • Loading/unloading equipment • Preparing florals and décor before events • General assistance with weddings, engagements, baby showers & other events I’m looking for people who are reliable, creative, hands-on and have a good eye for detail. You must be comfortable with some lifting and physical work. Experience in event styling, floristry or weddings is preferred, but I’m also happy to consider someone with a creative eye who is willing to learn. Most events are Friday–Sunday, and some pack downs may be late at night. Own transport is preferred. I’m hoping to find a few people I can regularly work with long-term, not just for one event. I’m hosting a christening at my home in Abbotsbury for approximately 80 guests and am looking for someone to help with dishes and general kitchen/party clean-up during the event. Approximately 3 hours of work from about 2pm Tasks will include: • Washing dishes, plates, cutlery and glasses throughout the party • Loading and unloading the dishwasher • Keeping the kitchen sink and benches tidy • Clearing used plates and glasses from the entertaining areas • Emptying bins and replacing bin bags as needed • General tidying of the kitchen and entertaining areas • A final tidy-up of the kitchen before leaving This is primarily a party helper/kitchen hand role rather than a full house clean.
