Hi! I'm getting my place ready for sale and need a handy person to take care of a few small jobs in one visit on Wednesday 14 October: 1. Kitchen cabinet door: Trim or plane down a cabinet door so it closes properly against the new rangehood. The cut edge should be finished neatly. 2. Shower grouting: The shower was regrouted in the last two months, so this is a light tidy-up only (cleaning up untidy lines and touching up any small gaps). No full regrout needed. 3. Shower soap holder: Remove the old soap holder, then fill the gap with grout so it matches the surrounding tiles. 4. Toilet paper holder: Remove the broken holder, patch and sand the holes smooth, then paint over the repair so it blends in with the wall. I have leftover wall paint (white). 5. Skirting boards: Re-secure a couple of loose skirting boards and make them look neat. 6. Curtain/blind cord: Install a new cord so the curtain can be raised and lowered. Please bring your own tools and general materials (grout, filler, adhesive, fixings). I can buy the new cord myself if you'd prefer. Just let me know. We need an experienced installer to level and lay floorboards on our 15 concrete stairs. The stairs will need to be levelled first using a self-levelling compound to ensure an even surface. We already have all floorboards and bullnose timber ready to go. The material is engineered timber with a 3mm oak veneer. There is also a small section at the top that is 1m2 Looking for someone with experience in stair installations. Please bring your own tools and levelling materials. I've attached a diagram too... but basically, would need the Airtasker to: 1. Purchase 2 x Metal Mate 50 x 3mm 2m Galvanised Steel Flat Bars from Bunnings (these are the ones: https://www.bunnings.com.au/metal-mate-50-x-3mm-2m-galvanised-steel-flat-bar_p0427781) 2. Cut them into 6 x 450mm strips. 3. Drill 10.5mm diameter holes as in the diagram. More details: - 6 straps in total, 2 of each size above. - Two holes in each one, with the left hole centre starting at 20mm from the edge of the strap. - The distance between the centre of the right hole and the right edge will differ on each one, and that’s ok! - Holes all 10.5 mm diameter Then deliver to the North Richmond station area (around Hoddle and Victoria Parade - could meet at the Bunnings there if you want to meet somewhere public!)
