We have an IXL tastic (2010) model installed in our bathroom. The three down lights do not work (have never worked since we moved in) and the respective light switch is off and never illuminates in blue as the others do. IXL tech support has suggested this could be down to a fault with the switch. We would much prefer to troubleshoot this before committing to a replacement as everything else works totally fine (heat lamp and fan).

Cabling must be fished through the inter-floor cavity (between ground floor ceiling and first floor flooring). Bathroom 3 — single-storey section with a metal (colorbond) roof. Roof cavity is only around 30cm between the ceiling and the roof sheeting, so it is not walkable — cabling will need to be fished rather than crawled. All ceiling openings are already cut. We’re setting up a small production studio in an existing warehouse in Frenchs Forest and are looking for a licensed electrician to help with some initial electrical work. For this first stage, we’re looking to: Inspect the existing switchboard and power supply, including confirming whether three-phase is already available and whether the current capacity is sufficient. Install additional power points throughout the downstairs warehouse/studio, including power for two production sets, LED studio lighting, cameras and production equipment. Provide dedicated circuits where appropriate for lighting and production/computer equipment. Add a few additional power points to the upstairs office. Modify the bathroom controls so the light and exhaust fan can be switched separately rather than both automatically activating when the door opens. Make sure the installation is safe, compliant and reasonably future-proofed for additional studio equipment later. We’re trying to keep Phase I practical and cost-effective rather than over-engineering the space. Ideally, we’d like someone experienced with commercial/warehouse electrical work who can visit the site, assess the existing setup and recommend the simplest appropriate solution before quoting the work. I need someone to install a small split system. I have the unit here. It’s an easy install with the inside unit above a window and the external unit on the other side of the brick wall behind it. There is already an external PowerPoint in the correct position and there’s a gutter to drain it into right next to the external unit. I’ll supply the split system.
