Basically need the following: Switchboard Upgrade - remove all ceramic fuses install new pvc enclosure 2x install individual safety switches across sub circuits. re-loom and wire all cabling in switchboard. remove old neutral links/circuit components. install neutral links, MEN and earthing system. Label and test all circuits. Quotes need to include labour, parts and everything. Electrician must be fully licensed in NSW with proof, have an ABN and provide warranty on all works and parts. Looking for a qualified electrician to install a suspended bar dimmable pendant over our kitchen island. There are 2 existing led downlights on their own switch and these will be made redundant as the pendant will replace them. Filling of the ceiling holes with plaster board is not required. Definitely need a ladder to pop head into the ceiling from the roof hole as shown in the picture. It might need to be approached from the top in order to see a loose connection or change a transformer if needed. The approach through the roof is right next the defective holder, as shown in picture.
