I have opened up my roof by removing parts of the ceiling gyprock. This is so that i can remove a load bearing wall and put up a beam for the rafters to sit on. The roof cavity has a lot of cables and its in the way of temporary props and the beam. Id like to organise the cables in a way that would allow me to easily remove the wall without the cables. Another issue is that there are a lot of cables that dont seem to be in use. Id like those removed as well. As this is a unique job, im happy to pay an electrician just to come over and prepare an accurate quote.
