Hello, I am looking for a gas appliance repair technician to fix my Asko cooktop. The burners keep clicking continuously. The issue started with the large burner, but now it is happening on three of the burners. I’m looking for a qualified appliance technician to inspect and repair my Smeg gas cooktop (model CIR93AXS3). Issue details: • The largest burner ignites normally. • However, when releasing the knob (even after holding it down for an extended period), the flame goes out. • A “click” sound can be heard from beneath the knob at the moment it shuts off. • This mainly happens during the first use of the day (cold start). • After multiple re-ignitions, the burner tends to stay lit. • The flame fully reaches the thermocouple. Based on preliminary research, it may be a failing thermocouple or possibly the gas safety valve.
