Continually dripping tap in the bathroom

Looking for someone to come and fix my dishwasher, and I think it is a problem with the filter. I have a fisher paykel single draw dishwasher and the filter was letting food through it and eventually started beeping half way through cycles. The filter when looking at it was coming apart so I glued it back together. I have run the dishwasher through while empty and it seems to work soon after but after a couple of cycles begins beeping again.
