I don’t want a book keeper of accountant I just need help and maybe some teaching. I’ll supply lunch and beers what ever it takes. Hi guys. I’ve got internet with Optus and they are saying it’s all ok on their end. My partner works from home and has issues with the speed with her calls dropping in and out. Setup/installation and configuration of home server + some training. This is a rebuild from an old PC that ran Win 10. The goal is to have a 24/7 file+media server+photo sync, and additionally with access to screenshare gaming+web browsing via Nvidia shield Pro. Nvidia Shield Pro already in use and connected. I have attempted the installation myself but realise my base knowledge is not enough. Software that might be installed and configured: Proxmox VE, Docker, Portainer, Tailscale, PIA VPN, Immich (photo sync), Win 10 OS VM, Plex Media Server, Moonlight/Sunshine, Samba, with GPU passthroughs. My hardware: Intel i5-8600k, Asus Z370 (LGA1151), 32GB DDR4-3600, 1TB M.2-2280 SATA SSD, 4x16GB NAS HDD, GTX 1070, PCIe 5GHz wifi card. (I can also use Powerline). Additionally using Raspi Zero with Pi-Hole DNS filter on router. Along with the installation and setup I'd like to be able to observe and learn basic manipulation of some of the application settings, and folder management. My experience using Linux systems is close to zero but I have started some research and started using containers in Docker on Windows.

The property is above a shop and has the same address so there is only one NBN connection located downstairs, I purchased a D-link extender but we are having issues, it will work for a short period then connection will drop completely until we unplug the extender and use the weak wifi from the router located in the shop.
