Old Desktop Asus X87-Pro, i7 cpu, 750W PS, Silversone F02 case. computer not turn on (not boot). When switch on PS, cpu fan spins for just a sec, GPU fans go on and spin (old nvidia Asus gpu. 2G vram), motherboard gives 00 "ok" reading but doesn't boot, no fans on the case start which is unusual as they usually give a spin with the PS switch. So no booting sequence on MB done. Maybe a short? Haven't done paper clip PS test etc. Plug in an old hard drive and power gets to it. Potential short maybe from a damn cat giving the case a quick 'spray' when I was adding a new SATA drive (and left the side door off for a day). So basically a problem/hardware check and if worth to fix etc. Can't prob check as my back is stuffed!

Airtasker Hi yesterday I finished up at work and I have a spare old laptop that I want to reconfigure as my personal one. To access that, I need my work username and ID but I need to be able to void that and go through a different system if you can help me with that. In the meantime , we don’t have Internet at the home but I can use my phone to hotspot for data to use my laptop, I’ve done that problem for quite a long time now. However today this won’t workwork. I wonder if it’s because of the work finishing situation or something else you can help with. Additionally, we have Internet in the home but something is wrong with it and I can’t seem to tap, if you could have a look at the motor and check that it’s plugged in. Pretty easy tasks really and we have off-street parking. I’m now unemployed and I’ve put down a smaller task price but we can amend it as things progress because if it’s really easy that’s all a fair price but if it’s more complicated we can increase it of course . Hi there, I’m looking for someone to set up a mesh wifi /internet network in my home. I have all the equipment needed. Additional info: I did some research and purchased the TP Link Deco 6E mesh system. I also have a TP Link Archer 6E router. The internet is fibre to the premises, so I’m keen on getting a solution that keeps internet speeds as fast as possible/practical throughout the house. There are Ethernet cables throughout the home that can be used to support the mesh network (I have Ethernet cables). Please let me know if you’d like any further info. Thanks, Ash

Hi there, I have an older hard drive. It is a: Seagate Expansion Portable Drive 500GB P/N 9SD2A4-500 I have bought new cable and tried to get my data from my MacBook Pro (Ventura 13.4) And it is not mounting or reading on my laptop. I have a feeling that it is because of the OS I am using (this is from forums I have read) It is not making a clicking sound, but when I go to disk utilities I receive the attached image error message. I have bought a new cord and tried that as well so don’t think it’s the cord. I need help to understand how I can get the data or if anyone is well versed in this data collection topic. Let me know! We have tpg internet modem and tp link wifi extender but they don’t seem to be connected or internet eeps dropping out. I was using my computer monitor (crossover UHD LCD 28") when I heard a little pop and it turned off, now the screen only displays blank white. I'm assuming it's probably a blown capacitor.
