Hello, We are looking for an experienced cabinet maker, furniture restorer, or skilled handyman to repair a damaged timber veneer display shelf at our retail store, in Westfield Eastgardens. The Issue: The light timber veneer coating on top of one of our main customer display shelves has split, cracked, and lifted along the grain. This has created a sharp, jagged edge that poses a splinter. The Job: The task is to perform a professional, smooth, and durable repair on this timber surface. The scope of work includes: 1. Preparing the split area by removing any failed glue. 2. Re-adhering the lifted veneer flat against the substrate using a strong commercial adhesive/epoxy. 3. Filling any remaining cracks, splits, or voids with a matching light-coloured wood filler or tinted epoxy (to match the light white-washed oak wood grain finish). 4. Sanding the repair perfectly smooth and flush so there are absolutely no raised edges, splinters, or sharp spots. 5. Applying a clear seal or touch-up finish to blend the repaired patch with the surrounding shelf. Requirements: - MUST have experience with wood veneer repairs, cabinetry, or furniture restoration. - You must supply all your own tools and materials (filler, epoxy/glue, sandpaper, sealer). - Ability to deliver a smooth, safe, and cosmetically neat result in a customer-facing area. - Public liability insurance is required. We are finishing installing our ikea kitchen cabinets, we are looking for a cabinet maker to help plane the cover panel pieces and to assist with planeing kickboards. We have 2 x internal pieces and 2 end pieces and a backing for the island along with kickboard. Ideally either Friday 7th or Saturday 8th.

Hello, I'm looking for someone with experience in cabinetry, built-in wardrobes or joinery to finish an IKEA PAX wardrobe install to make it appear built in and a tidy finish. Scope of works 1. Install infill/filler panels • Fill the gaps between the wardrobe and the side walls with 16mm MR MDF. • Scribe the panels to the walls where required so everything sits flush. • Ideally use moisture-resistant MDF or similar ready for painting. 2. Install a kicker/plinth board • Cover the existing timber base with a neat kicker/plinth with either 16 or 18mm with 16mm MR MDF. • Continue the plinth across the full width so it appears built in. • Minimise visible joins. 3. Finishing • Light sand and prime final cut and fitted pieces • Colour match GRIMO door at Dulux trade centre • Ideally, paint with low sheen Dulux Aquanamel and using high-density foam roller to achieve sprayed-looking texture • Finish neatly against the existing skirting boards and also IKEA base (may require some filling of gaps above plinth / kicker) • Caulk as required. Notes • Wardrobe is already fully assembled and secured. • Photos attached showing the areas to finish. Please only apply if you've completed similar built-in wardrobe or cabinetry work. I have 2 wardrobe recesses. 1 master and 1 small recess. For now I just need a hanging shelf in both. White 20ml thick shelf? with pine wood supports underneath and a heavy duty silver pole. I will pay for materials extra. Other work available 😊

Cabinet Maker Needed to Adjust Kitchen Cabinetry for Stone Benchtop Realignment Looking for an experienced cabinet maker to inspect and adjust existing kitchen cabinetry to allow a stone benchtop to be moved back into its correct position. A stone mason has advised that the cabinetry underneath requires adjustment before the stone can be repositioned. There is currently movement/misalignment in the cabinetry which appears to have contributed to the benchtop shifting and cracking at a join. Scope of Works: Inspect existing kitchen cabinetry and supports. Move and re-level cabinetry as required. Reinforce or adjust cabinet structure to support the stone correctly. Ensure cabinets are level and suitable for the stone mason to reinstall/reposition the benchtop. Advise if any additional cabinet repairs are required.
