Built-In Wardrobe / Design & Build Reservoir VIC 3073 Hi there, I’m looking to have a small, functional built-in wardrobe installed in my granny flat bedroom. There is an existing split system air conditioner on the wall, so the wardrobe will need to be designed around it (unit will remain in place). The TV will be removed. Existing drawers can either be removed or incorporated into the build if suitable. I require a full-length hanging rail (long rack for hanging clothes). Approximate dimensions of the space: • Width: ~2 metres • Height: ~2 metres At this stage I’m prioritising functionality and affordability. Ideally I’d like: • Floor-to-ceiling wardrobe (small space) • Designed around existing split system • Internal shelving + long hanging rail • Simple, clean finish (white melamine is fine) • Doors optional for now (happy to source mirrored sliding doors separately later) I’ll also be starting study soon, so practical storage is important to help maximise space in the room.

I have an old wardrobe that I want dismantled and removed. I want a new built in wardrobe consisting of simple sliding doors with a shelf going across the top and 1/3 of the area to be shelved (in the center) while the rest either side to be hanging space. I will pay for doors shelving etc but will need assistance in what to buy. The room is approx 2.8m wide and 2.4 high. It looks like when the old cupboard is removed it will be back to studs so internal lining will be required.

One of the wardrobe door hinges has come loose because the screws have pulled out of the panel. The screw holes are stripped, so the screws no longer grip the wood. The hinge is still attached but hanging out, and the door is misaligned.

Fix sliding doors on a built in wardrobe

I have a built in wardrobe with sliding door and it has a few shelves on the left hand side and hanging space for the rest. I want to add additional shelves and maybe draws to optimise space and I do not need hanging space. the dimensions are as follows : depth available : 40cm width: 170 cm height : 160cm The existing shelves on the left are 35cm wide and 160 cm high and it has adjustable 5 shelves with pinholes. problem with ensuite toilet. need access to cistern to figure out source of leak. toilet is attached to built in wardrobe from the other side. plumber needs access. if you can remove the panel without damaging it and reinstall after the plumber is done. that will be great
