We’ve just moved into a new place and need someone experienced with window fittings to take accurate measurements. After that, we’ll buy ready‑made blinds or curtains and need them installed.

Replace broken outdoor blind, cheap temporary solution: I’m looking for someone to remove/replace the existing broken outdoor window blind shown in the photo. I’m not looking for an expensive custom blind at this stage, I just need a cheap, practical temporary solution for summer to provide shade and reduce heat through the window. Very happy with something basic such as a bamboo/reed outdoor blind, simple roll-up shade or similar inexpensive option. It does not need a winding mechanism, I’m completely happy to manually roll it up and secure/tie it when needed. Ideally looking for someone who can: * Remove or make safe the existing broken blind/awning * Measure the window and recommend/source a cheap suitable replacement * Install it securely to the brick/existing structure * Keep the solution as inexpensive as possible Will reimburse the cost of the blind/materials separately with receipt. This is intended as a temporary solution until I can afford to have a more permanent professional blind installed. I do have an old bamboo blind that could be used but also happy to fund alternative suggested material as negotiated.

Electric roller blind needs adjustment as it won’t close fully

I need help removing old blinds and installing 2 roller blinds in two bedrooms. The blinds are already purchased and ready to install. Each blind is approximately 1.2m wide. Installation only.Please bring your own tools.

Blinds chain/cord replacement

The bottom metal rail of an indoor roller blind has detached and is hanging diagonally. The edge of the blind fabric may also be slightly torn. I need someone experienced with roller blinds to inspect and properly repair it, including reattaching or replacing the bottom rail/strip if required. Please include labour and any likely parts in your offer and confirm whether you have repaired this type of blind before. Photos attached.

My kitchen area has 4 electric blinds. 1 is not paired with the remote control and the others are not paired with the correct number on the remote. The one that isn’t paired at all will not go up or down

We have two ZipTrak blinds, 2300mm and 1530mm wide that have become very stiff and difficult to put up and down. I would like them freed up and moving freely.

Looking for an experienced handyman or curtain installer to complete a curtain installation in our apartment in Gilberton. The job includes: * Remove existing vertical blinds from three windows. * Install three double curtain s-fold tracks (two tracks per window). * Cut four curtain tracks to the required length (two of the three windows need resizing). * Install all brackets and tracks securely (wall mount) * Patch and paint the old blind bracket holes so the walls are left looking neat. We already have the curtain tracks, curtains and hardware. You’ll just need your own tools, including a suitable saw for trimming the tracks. I have two heavy duty outdoor blinds that I need help hanging. My issue is, the mounts need to be hung horizontal so the blind can hold itself up. Only able to hang vertical because of metal beam If you have the right tools and a long metal beam to mount so it sits under gutter nicely. I’ll post some pictures so you understand . I am here and willing to help person with task. Just would love them mounted asap. Had a go at hanging it already but the beam in the middle was just too short for the mount to be screwed into. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

High blinds on a staircase 3m high.

3 blockout blinds have come off their rollers, so they would need to be reattached. The chain that controls all three of those blinds has torn off. So need a new chain or rejoin the exisiting chain. I don’t have a ladder.
