Our washing machine lost power during a cycle. It was working okay until this. It’s a top loader Simpson 7kg washing machine.

I have the following machines: A Samsung 7kg washing machine WF7708N6W1 - The machine has died and won't start. I need someone to find out why it wont turn on and potentially fix it. Also the machine is wedged into a smallish cupboard, it probably needs 2 people to get out. A Haier 7kg dyer (Model HDY-C70) - this is working but when it turns on it makes a horrible screeching sound. I'd like to also get this sorted out too.

Burning smelled came from the switch which connect to turn on/off washing machine & dryer & exhausted fans. I noticed sometimes the washing machine & dryer stopped operate automatically.
