Remove Existing Gas Fireplace & Install New Wood Heater Insert I’m looking for an experienced fireplace installer to remove my existing gas fireplace insert and install a new Kent Calisto Medium Insert Wood Heater (I’ll supply the heater). The job includes: * Remove existing gas insert. * Safely disconnect/cap the gas connection (licensed if required). * Install the new wood heater into the existing masonry fireplace. * Supply and install the required flue, cowl and installation materials. * Ensure the installation complies with Australian Standards. * Test the heater and remove/dispose of the old gas unit. Please quote including labour and materials, and let me know if you’ve installed wood heater inserts before. Existing fireplace photos are attached, and I can provide measurements if needed. Gas disconnection must be completed by a licensed gasfitter, with a Compliance Certificate provided if required under Victorian regulations.

LOOKING FOR A QUOTE We have a gas fireplace that needs to be connected to gas and have ducting installed. The gas should be fairly easy to install, there is an elbow in the gas pipes under the house approximately 5 metres away, if that can be converted to a T junction, it's a straight shot to the fireplace with ample space under the house to manoeuvre. The ducting componants haven't been purchased as we would require your input on which components are appropriate, but the ducting needs to go up a little then exit through an exterior wall rather then the roof, the ducting will exit above our carport and is easy to access with a ladder ( we can provide the ladder if needed). I require my current oven replaced with the new one I just purchased. Old oven is hardwired - please see pics. New oven is a plug & play and only needs to be plugged in to operate. I have a single plug which supports the oven. I would need the current electrical plug to be charged to a double to be able to plug in the oven as well.
