Hi, I have an LG WV9-1410 front-loading washing machine that I bought used. The problem is: when I turn it on, the display shows “PS” and then the machine loses power / shuts off. I have a problem with my LCD display it won't show anything but it lights for a while & the blacks out completly after about 5 seconds & then i try to turn it back on but nothing happens .

My old but still working washing machine gives me regular warnings of "Check the Tap" and pauses the washing cycles so I have to come back and press Start button to continue. More of warning messages appear during a Rinse and Last Rinse cycles of washing, rarely at Main Wash cycle. Sometimes it beeps to notify sometimes it doesn't and shoots itself to "Pause". I checked the hose seems ok; checked filter at the bottom seems clean. It's a lovely machine otherwise if it was not so annoying with stopping so often that the washing ends up dragging for hours. I need someone knowledgeable to come and inspect the machine and advise if it's fixable, what exactly is causing the error message and the estimates of repair. Depending on these estimates of the repairs I will have to decide if to go ahead and ask you to repair.
