Looking for an appliance technician to diagnose and repair an ignition issue on a 2009 ILVE JC906WNPI 900mm freestanding gas cooker in Melbourne. Fault symptoms: Left 2 burners ignite normally. Right 4 burners do not generate a spark when their own knobs are turned. Right 4 burners will ignite if a left-hand burner is used to generate the spark. This suggests the spark generator and ignition electrodes are working, with a possible ignition microswitch or wiring fault. Please also supply and fit black clock switches. 1 broken. Requirements: Experienced with ILVE gas cookers. Diagnose and repair ignition system. Supply and fit any required parts. Please provide call-out fee, hourly rate and availability.

I need a qualified plumber/gas fitter to move the existing pipe/connection shown in the photo because the new oven will not fit into the space with the current pipe position. The pipe/connection needs to be relocated or adjusted appropriately (including using a suitable flexible connection if permitted) so the new oven can slide fully into position. I’m looking for a licensed electrician who can disconnect hardwired appliances and replace ceiling fans / lights ahead of stripout and painting. I am renovating my kitchen/house and need the following work completed: 1. Safely disconnect and isolate the power to an existing built-in electric oven/cooktop so it can be removed. The appliance is hardwired (not plugged into a power point). 2. Replace 4 × ceiling fans and 5 x ceiling lights with temporary fixtures (all will be replaced later with new lights/fans, current ones need to removed for painting). This is the first stage of the renovation. After the kitchen and laundry strip out is complete, I will also need a licensed electrician to return to connect the new oven and other electrical work, so there will be additional work available. Smeg oven door doesn’t close properly (leaves a gap at the top). And the oven time/ timer is also showing a fault and flashing A. This is preventing the oven from going on, unless I trick it with setting a stop time. If you can fix these problems, I think that’s worth $200!

I have a free-standing gas cooktop / oven that was removed when the floors of my villa unit were sanded. I now need to have the unit re-installed and fitted off again. The unit is sitting just out in the courtyard and it requires being lifted in up 1 small step and then back into its original position. The kitchen is next to the back door. The property is about to be listed on the market and photos are being taken on Thurs 20th August, so the job needs to be done ASAP prior to this date.
