My gas cooktop still supplies gas, but the electronic igniter isn’t clicking/sparking. I don’t know the brand. What is your call-out/diagnostic fee, and is it deducted from the repair cost?

I have a 5-burner Smeg gas cooktop (middle burner is oval-shaped) with a continuous sparking problem. The issue started after cleaning about 2 years ago. Since then, when the power is turned on, all burners keep sparking continuously without stopping. To manage this, I’ve been turning off the power at the switch and using a lighter to ignite the burners. Gas is working fine and all burners function normally when lit manually. The issue seems to be related to the ignition system, likely a faulty ignition switch or spark module.

I would like to replace cooktop as it’s quite old.

inconsistent or not working

I have a Baumatic GEF6TGG oven. All burners turn on, then the blue flame goes weak, does not stay full strength. Oven turns on, but there is smoke. I also have leaking faucet above bath.

My Neff gas stove was working superb however when I was brewing tea on the smallest burner, the brew boiled over and since then the ignitor has stopped working and all the 4 burners. This needs to be fixed. Upon fixing the decor should look the same.

We need to replace old bosch gas cooktop with new one. We have already purchased exact same model. need supply certificate & compliance.

Need kitchen sink, gas cooktop and tap disconnected for kitchen demolition and complete removal. Need them all completely removed to within wall cavity. Please note that gas has been fully disconnected from the property, so there is actually no gas running to the cooktop. It just needs to be removed to any point within the wall.

Need a licensed gas fitter to relocate the existing gas isolation valve because it interferes with a new built-in oven (573 mm deep). The gas pipe only needs to be adjusted enough to provide the required clearance behind the oven. Electrical work will be completed separately by another tradesperson.

Need to replace gas cooktop (like for like, new one provided-Westinghouse Model WHG644SC). Location is Melbourne CBD. Photos provided. Timing is flexible (other than Wed,Thursday and Friday day time), evening any day is fine though. Weekend is also ok. Prefer to also avoid very early morning.
