Replace induction cooktop with another one. I am not sure but I think the old one is connected to a 25A. The new one might need a 32A circuit. The switchboard already includes a dedicated switch for Cooktop. Photo attached. You can check what amph is required for the new one to make sure. No need to cut the cabinet as both have same cut size. Certificate of the installation is required from a certified electrician. Hi, I need a licensed electrician to connect a new Devanti induction cooktop. The old cooktop has already been removed and the existing 240V single-phase supply cable (active/neutral/earth) is accessible in the bench cutout. The new cooktop has a standard terminal block with L1, L2, N, Earth and requires a single-phase install with L1/L2 bridged, as per the manufacturer’s diagram.
