Fisher & Paykel DE50F56E1 5kg Dryer Dryer not spinning every time, will spin after hand spinning a couple of times but will only take a few small items at a time.

My hose broke to my washing machine. Im not there, so I need some to bring around a new hose and connect it. The old hose frayed, so I also need you to assess why it broke to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
