Glass washer is stopped working

Handyman needed to fix rangehood in unit 9 and 3. when the rangehood is pulled, the lights turned on but the fan is not turning on. need to get it fixed before sunday 23/6.

I have an Asko washing machine and dryer, both of which are quite old and have both recently stopped working. The washing machine indicates it needs a new motor, and the dryer won’t work if the items are straight out of the washing machine (i.e. they are “too wet”). Before I replace these, I’d like to see if there is a simple fix with either machine.
