Hi, I’m looking for an experienced handyman or TV installer to help mount my 43-inch TV onto my bedroom wall in a new-build property in Manchester. I already have a full-motion swivel TV bracket that allows the TV to move left, right, up and down. Previous Installation Attempt: I previously attempted to install the bracket myself using an electric drill and the screws that came with the bracket. However, when I drilled into the wall, the drill went through quite easily and there appeared to be a hollow space behind it. I believe the wall is plasterboard rather than solid brick or concrete. I stopped the installation because I wasn’t confident the screws would hold the TV securely. There is now a small drilled hole in the wall from my previous attempt. What I Need Help With: * Assess the wall and identify suitable structural fixing points. * Check for concealed cables and pipes before drilling. * Supply the appropriate fixings for a hollow plasterboard wall. * Securely install my existing swivel TV bracket. * Mount my 43-inch TV and ensure it’s level, stable and safe to swivel.
