Our hob has been dodgy since we moved in. I think there is a gas supply issue. The hob is very temperamental. Sometimes it lights, sometimes it will light for a moment before the gas dies. If I light the largest burner first, it will always die. But if I can get a small burner lit, I can then light the large one. It’s almost like there’s a limited supply of gas initially. Sometimes no gas comes out at all. The ignition clicking things seem to be working just fine. Can’t see any brand markings. Other fitted appliances are Electrolux.
Advise on, purchase and fit new ceramic hob to replace existing.

I rent the property and need a few specific fixes 1) dripping kitchen mixer tap and 2) 1 of the 4 hob rings is not igniting (either the ignition nozzle is dirty or the knob to turn on gas is no longer properly attached to the hob.
