I had a heat miser put in when we did our house up. For some reason it didn't work. (was set up incorrectly). See below the current set up and what I need put back in. But I also need someone who understands how it works and the logic behind it.

I have a nest thermostat and Worcester combi boiler , I want to replace the current thermostat with the Nest smart thermostat. Note boiler is in the loft, ladder access and light is available

I need a little repair as my boiler is leaking water. The water is coming into the kitchen ceiling.

I have a Nest Thermostat E brand new in it's box I want to fit this to my Combi Boiler. The boiler is Worcester Greenstar 24i Junior, I have all manuals and information for the boiler. The boiler is in the loft, accessed by a fixed ladder and plenty of light, and I have additional plug in lamps and torches for when the power is off. Loft is cold and a bit dusty. This task will require the house electrics to be switched off, boiler knowledge and fitting smart thermostat knowledge. - Due date: Flexible

Bottom and top of kitchen wall unit need to be easily removed and pu back for boiler to be serviced. - Due date: Flexible

The issue appears to be with the thermostat on both ovens, where it heats up, but typically about 20degrees lower than the marked temperature on the dial. Then when it hits a stable temperature, the thermostat sort of goes to sleep and the oven cools down over time and we've lost a few cakes and had a few late dinners due to extra time needed to cook. Also if the oven does hit a stable temperature, if I have to open the door for any reason, the temperature drops but then the thermostat doesn't kick in to get the oven to reheat again. I have to fiddle with the dials to 'wake' it up again to start reheating. Repair to include parts and labour and 12m warranty. Oven is only 2-3yrs old.
