We would like to replace the grass with fake grass and paving. As you can see, the current grass is in somewhat of a circular shape in one corner - we'd like to make the fake grass extend a bit further out over the non-grass area to create a rectangular shape. We'd like paving along the left and far edges of the garden. Currently you can see there is a weed membrane there - I believe this will need to be removed before we do the paving - but please let us know your thoughts. I have already removed a large chunk of bamboo under the ground - hence the hole in the far-right corner of the yard. We live in Ditchling Road, Brighton and our back garden measures around 24 feet wide by 32 feet long; it’s about half brick and York stone paving, with a large curved bed and three smaller beds. We had it planted a few years ago and have maintained it ourselves but it’s been badly neglected over the past 18 months and looks it.
