My garden project is ready for the patio to be laid - for the purposes of this project the work to be completed will be: 1/ Finalise the Type 3 base - we have already laid and compacted circa 750mm of Type 3 across the laying area. I have not fully completed this however so that the team laying can finish laying and level to your preferences. I expect there'll be 1-2 more bulk bags to lay and compact. 2/ Lay "stepping plank" porcelain slabs from the door to stairs. Also cut and fit the slabs to the stairs. Expected to cut and lay circa 7-8 porcelain planks and fit to 5x stairs. 3/ Lay sandstone cobbles in a herringbone pattern in 2x areas. Totalling 15sqm. I will be happy to purchase and have all materials required and have them delivered if given a 'shopping list'. Also happy to take a ballpark quote online & arrange to then come and see in person to finalise. I am seeking some more expert help with the actual laying rather than DIY'ing this portion myself, as I am looking for a higher quality finish than I know I can achieve. Thanks Ps. I would like to turn my small garden into a relaxed zen environment that is inviting to us and also nature. Someone with landscaping ideas would be great; at a minimum, decking/patio experience to phydically put in the decking/get the materials etc.. I have already cleared the space.
