What do furniture removal services do?
At some point, you may need your old furniture collection to be disposed of by a professional furniture removal company. If you're searching for "furniture collection near me" on the internet, look no further than Airtasker. Whether you need old furniture removal or you're simply looking for an unwanted furniture collection service, we can connect you with dedicated furniture removalists to handle the job.
Here are some of the things you can expect from a furniture removal and disposal service through Airtasker.
Furniture Disassembly
One of the primary concerns of any furniture collection service would be packing your unwanted furniture properly. A furniture disassembly service would quickly get your bulky made-to-assemble furniture back to its base pieces, especially if you need them to fit through narrow lifts or staircases. With a disassembled item, the furniture collection process can be pushed through with great ease. From here, your Tasker can either pack-off your furniture to be stocked or taken away for disposal.
Furniture Removal
Once your furniture is disassembled, your Tasker will have to get your old pieces out of your home in the most efficient way possible. For fragile furniture removals, make sure to inform your Tasker to take extra care, especially if you don't want your more precious items damaged during the process. Then, they load your pieces onto the van or vehicle and proceed with the disposal process right away.
In case you need to clear out any unnecessary junk along with your furniture, you can also hire a rubbish removal or a house clearance expert to lend you a hand. This way, you get to free more space around your home and get more done in a short amount of time.
Furniture disposal
Your Tasker can bring your broken and old furniture to a furniture disposal site near you. At the old furniture disposal facility, your pre-loved furniture can be disassembled or broken down to be repurposed or recycled. If the pieces themselves are relatively intact and can still be utilised, then you can have your Tasker donate it to a trusted charitable organisation. This way, the service life of your furniture can be maximised for a more significant benefit.
Furniture movers
If you happen to be moving out of your flat or relocating to a new home, hire our expert furniture movers so you can easily gather your items and transport them to your new location. You can even ask help from your Tasker to place your furniture, especially if you need to lift heavier pieces and install them inside particular rooms as well.
Airtasker has over 11 furniture removals in Brixton, with an average rating of 4.8 stars from 10 reviews. Get in touch with furniture removals such as Nel C, Kenn L, and Tom F today to get a wide variety of Furniture Removal jobs done. From Apartment Removal, Fridge Removal, and Heavy Lifting; you can get all types of Furniture Removal done usually between £40-£64, with the median price of Furniture Removal in Brixton being £50.

Hi! I need someone to collect three small storage units and a bedside table from my friends house in Brixton, and bring them to my home in Walthamstow. I reckon they would fit in a big car with the seats down in the back but in any case would fit a small van no worries. I can obtain measurements if necessary. Can be flexible with time and date and there's no need to bring anything up the stairs on my end - it's just a pick up and drop off job. Thank you!

Brilliant experience. Comms excellent, kept me informed on ETAs etc and my stuff turned up in perfect condition. Also just a really lovely man! Highly recommended, thank you so much for your help!

Move furniture/boxes from storage space into van
£40
Brixton, Greater London, SW9
31st Jan 2019
I am clearing out my 6 square metre storage space in Brixton and placing the contents in a van. The items consist of 2 couches, a mirror, some artwork, endtables, a bookcase, boxes of clothes and books, and various and sundry items (e.g. lamps, bags of stuff, etc.). The storage space has a lift as well as dollies and pushcarts. There will be one other person (the man with a van) helping. This will take place this evening (Thursday 31 Jan) from approximately 8pm to 10pm in Brixton.

Nice guy and helpful with the moving of boxes but was an hour late for a two hour job which meant I had to do double the work myself. Said his phone was being repaired and that he couldn’t find the address of the large storage space company.
