I have an LVT click floor that was installed three months ago. The floor was not properly levelled. One of the floorboards has now cracked, and there are three small areas where the floor is particularly not level and I fear more cracking. I would like to, if I can, level these sections without changing the entire floor.

Damp floor in Shed The front section (to about a foot in) of chipboard floor is damp and soft in my shed/summerhouse which was installed 7 years ago. I have only noticed the damp problem in the floor in the last 12 months and I don’t think it’s caused by rain as it seems to be damp all the time, whether it’s rained or not - I have a feeling that it’s coming up from the ground. My floor was laid three months ago, but the ground wasn’t levelled properly first. This resulted in a small dent in the flooring in a main walking area. The LVT floorboard has now cracked, unsurprisingly. I want the gap underneath levelling, and the floorboard either replacing, or the split made good.

I have laminated wood herringbone flooring which has begun lifting in certain areas. I need someone to come and fix this urgently.

There appears to be a 2 small chips in my flooring that I need repairing. See video below. I believe the flooring is engineered wood that is glued down.

We need an experienced installer to supply & fit Polysafe/safety vinyl flooring in void (un-let) properties – mainly kitchens and bathrooms. Jobs are regular with multiple installs per week and the right person can secure a permanent role within the business. Scope typically includes: uplift/remove existing floor covering if required, prep subfloor (clean/scrape/minor make-good), lay Polysafe neatly with clean cuts around WC/basin/pipework, finish edges/thresholds and seal/weld where required, and leave site tidy with waste removed.

Need wooden flooring installed (approx. 57.7 m²) including neat corner and edge finishing. Must be completed in one day (moving ASAP). I will provide the flooring materials. Budget is £400 maximum – please do not send higher offers.

We are getting new carpets put in, but need to fix the squeaking floors in the 3 bedrooms, upstairs landing and the staircase.

I need to do a temporary repair on 2 floorboards in my bathroom. I want to keep the original floorboards but they have a crack. The recommendation from the old owner - who is a builder but lives overseas, says to put a brace understand the floorboards to stablise them. He said should be relatively easy. To remove the 2 floorboards, temporarily move the toilet basin to access, brace then return The floorboards are attached with - Bullet Hole Screws The toilet has 2 screws toilet and would need to be moved, water stopped The job has to be Wednesday as I am travelling before and afterwards. I can be home all day, ideally done during the day in case we need wood from Leyland - they need to be open and they are across the road

FIX SOME DECKING, HAS CRACKS AND SOME REMOVED

I've got damaged LVT floor board in the kitchen. I have 4 spare planks. I’d like the worst damaged boards replaced and the others stabilised without replacing the whole floor.

Need creaky floorboards sorting in a double bedroom before new carpet is laid

Flooring wasn’t done very well and has broken off. Have two spare laminate pieces and require it to be fixed.

Some of the wooden floor has come off due to a leak and is no longer flat on the ground. The leak has since been repaired and now we need the floor repaired. Please see attached.

Barge board above front porch has unsightly marks (paint not holding) and a rusty colour stain. The marks came back soon after re-painting.
