Curtains need to be installed onto a drywall. There is underlaying metal that prevents some screws from gojng fully in. The house originally came with a wooden plank (seemed loosely) stuck to the wall but that has fallen down. The total curtain coverage length is around 3m. An examination before installation is preferred as we have not bought the curtain rails yet. There are 2 rooms that need to have their curtains and curtain rails installed. We have not bought the curtain rails as we do not know what curtain rails are most suitable for the walls and so that is why we request an inspection/consultation before installation. Our past experience with the wall has led us to believe that this task cannot be completed with conventional methods.

There is a crack just between a bedroom wall and the ceiling. I think that the board of the dry wall is caving in, as there are cracks coming down and up the wall in a couple of places too.
