Clear a vacant one-bedroom first-floor flat on Morrison Street, Edinburgh (EH3), on Sunday 20 September, afternoon. The flat is being staged for sale on Tuesday so everything must go on Sunday. Two drop-offs: 1. Charity donation — EFI on Gorgie Road (about 1.5 miles): small double bed, 2–3 seater sofa, small snuggler armchair, possibly two small coffee tables. 2. Delivery to my home in Kirkgate, Currie (about 7 miles): everything else in the flat — TVs, possibly the washing machine, and general smaller household items, bagged or boxed. Nothing fragile or valuable; basic packing is fine. Flat layout: bedroom, kitchen, WC, small shower room, utility room, small hall, large living room with closet. One flight of stairs, no lift. Free parking on Sunday. Ideally two people, with a van large enough to take the furniture in one run. Please bring bags/boxes. I will be on site. Hi, We need to move a large fridge from ground floor kitchen to basement via a narrow doorway/staircase. We think the doors will need to come off and it will be quite a tight fit. Thank you!

I need help moving a Miele wine fridge down a small flight of stairs to my basement (which already has both a washing machine and tumble dryer). I don’t want to lift this myself and believe someone with a stair climbing trolley and the right straps could do it more safely than me.
