I have a wooden desk with drawers on both sides but also a drawer in the middle. Becasue of the middle plank, we cannot fit into the desk with a chair as my legs and knee touch the middle drawer. We removed the middle drawer and there is just a plank in the middle which if we remove it will help solve the problem. The top part of the desk can be seperated from the two sides so its easier to get the job done. Its just a matter of cut the middle plank and smooth it.
