Hardwire the power cable: tap into an appropriate 12V switched circuit (so the camera powers on/off with ignition) and a suitable ground. (Optional) If I want it to record when parked, wire a constant/unswitched feed with low-voltage cutoff protection to avoid battery drain. Test voltage, ensure no error messages or fault codes in the car’s electrical system. Neatly secure and hide all wiring (headliner, A-pillar, fuse box, etc.). Provide documentation (photos of final wiring, fuse used, and guarantee of workmanship).
