Apply Magnetic Strip B tightly along the borders of the fabric panel. Set up the AC hose through the zipper. Please bring a heavy-duty adhesive remover (like Goo Gone) to strip the old failing glue first!

Hi, I’ve got a JL-MAC-01 9000 BTU portable air conditioner in N1. It’s an R290 self-contained portable unit and it’s showing an E2 fault, which appears to be the coil temperature sensor/thermistor. I’m looking for someone to diagnose the sensor and replace it if required. Do your engineers repair this type of portable unit, and what would the call-out/diagnostic charge be

Further access to the ceiling will be required to remove the full cover and gain proper access to the fan coil unit, including the drip tray and coil. The unit requires a full inspection to identify the source of the leak. The drip tray will need to be removed, checked and thoroughly deep cleaned. The condensate drainage pipe also requires disconnection and inspection for any blockage or restriction,followed by cleaning through to ensure proper drainage. The coil should also be thoroughly cleaned as part of the investigation and maintenance works. Once the cleaning and drainage checks have been completed, the unit should be tested in cooling mode for several hours to confirm that the condensate is draining correctly and that there are no further leaks from the fan coil unit.
