To lift a new washing machine in to an alcove. It means lifting the machine over a work top/waist height and lowering the other side. It does not involve plumbing etc. and the lifting distance is probably no more than a metre. It’s just awkward. I have done this before with a friend helping me and it only takes a few minutes but I can’t find anyone willing at the moment. It can either be a two man job or I am willing to help if one person is available.
