Internet / Wi-Fi Technician Needed – On-Site Fix (Not Remote) I’m looking for someone experienced with home internet and Wi-Fi to come to my house and properly sort out our internet issues. We have a good internet provider, but the Wi-Fi and overall performance is still terrible. I don’t know much about networking, so I need someone who does. What I need done: • Come on site and diagnose the problem • Fix slow Wi-Fi speeds / drop-outs • Check and optimise the modem/router setup • Improve coverage and performance throughout the house • My child has a wired (Ethernet) connection for gaming, so this also needs to be checked and optimised • If additional equipment is needed (router, mesh system, cables, etc.), I’m happy to: • Buy whatever is required • Drive with you to pick it up if needed Important: • I want this fully working before you leave • This is not a “have a look and leave” job — I want it properly fixed • I’m happy to pay for your time, expertise, and troubleshooting If you’re confident you can come out, identify the issue, and get our internet running properly, please get in touch.

I need someone to tidy up my home network. Firstly, change the IP address of 2 switches and 4 access points as I now have FTTP and the new Optus modem/router has a different IP address to my network. Optus won’t change IP address, so we have to make the change to my network. Secondly, I currently have point-to-point for connectivity to my 2nd building 150m away. There is already an unused Telstra line to the building so would like to try a wired solution from the house switch to the 2nd building switch. This will involve connecting rj45 plugs and testing connectivity to see if it’s better. I know it’s a further distance than recommended. Please quote on this job and let me know your experience with something like this. If the job takes longer than quoted, and I can see you know what’s going on, I will pay extra. Thanks! John.
