Scope: Review existing house roof and new framing to confirm set‑out. Supply and install: Tray deck metal roof sheeting (0.48 BMT or as recommended) to garage and small porch roof at 1.5° pitch. Roof battens/purlins where required over trusses/rafters. Box gutter sized and graded per AS/NZS 3500.3 (min 200mm wide, 120mm deep; continuous fall to rainhead). Rainhead and downpipe from box gutter to legal discharge point (or to existing stormwater connection location as shown on site plan). Flashings, cappings and junctions to existing tiled roof, including side flashings up under tiles. Ensure compliance with NCC 2022 and AS1562.1 (sheet roof code) including corrosion protection suitable for suburban Melbourne. Please include: Brand/profile of tray deck proposed. Help us build a lean to shed at the side of our house. I’m looking for someone to build a shed/covered area to make use of the space at the side of our house. Structure will be approx 4-7m long depending on cost and 1.4m wide off the house. Timber frame, concrete post footings and clear corrugated roof. Need someone with good building/carpentry skills to work with us. Shed has to be Water/weatherproof. Thinking Clear corrugated roofing with a sloping roof with a gutter for drainage, maybe also enclosing both ends with a door/lock. Will use pre existing fence and side of house as walls, however keeping it structurally independent of the fence. The floor will be the existing concrete. Open to other suggestions for the area. Photo with the dark grey fence on the right is the actual side of our house. The other two photo are ideas and inspirations for the project. Happy to answer any questions. Please quote including materials. May have further work if the job is done well. We are located in Balaclava near St Kilda East.
