I’m looking for an experienced typist to transcribe approximately 100 handwritten pages into a clean, professionally formatted Microsoft Word document. This is for a book project, so accuracy, consistency and attention to detail are very important. I have 23x A4 pages of a PDF document (which is a play-script). I have tried using a PDF to Word conversion program, but it has not worked to be a truly editable document; It may need to be done manually, but anyone who is a competent and quick typist should be able to complete this job with ease. Please find .jpg screenshot images of my PDF document (the site would not let me attach the PDF file to this job, but I can send this to you if you’d like to look at it first before agreeing to take the task). The actual PDF file I have is a photocopy of a book. As you can see, each A4 page is split in half (with 2 A5 'pages' per A4 page) -- when creating the Word Document, this is not necessary, and simply typing everything in order will be perfect. The Word document does not need to be 'page for page' (as in, page 1 of the PDF must be page 1 of the Word doc) -- the Word doc can simply be the play script dialogue in the order that it's written. In the sample pages, you will see that the character name is placed on the far left of the page, with the dialogue soon after. In the Word document, I would like a colon added after each character's name to differentiate their name from the dialogue. For example: CHARACTER NAME: Dialogue here. CHARACTER NAME: More dialogue here. CHARACTER NAME: And so on, and so on... Stage directions can be italicised. The font of the entire Word document needs to be Calibri, size 12. This job must be completed by 2:00pm Tuesday 3rd March (ACST South Australia time).
