Hi there, I’m looking for an experienced handyman or curtain fitter to install curtain systems in my living room and bedroom. Both rooms currently have blinds, which will need to be removed and replaced with curtain poles or tracks (to be advised based on what works best for the space and wall type). I’m looking for someone who can assess the setup, recommend the right fittings if needed, and complete a clean, secure, and level installation. The job will involve: Removing existing blinds safely Advising on and installing appropriate curtain poles or tracks Drilling and fixing into walls securely (plaster/brick as applicable) Ensuring everything is level, stable, and neatly finished Basic clean-up after installation I’m looking for someone with proven experience installing curtains or similar fixtures, with strong attention to detail and pride in finishing work to a high standard. Please include examples of previous similar work, along with your availability. Thanks!

Front door – finish painting job. * Sand/prep where needed (including sanding/grinding back the end of a metal screw/bolt to create a smooth finish). * Paint the door and surrounds. * Fit new brass letter plate, house numbers and escutcheon. * One coat has already been done. letter box and numbers already purchased. When making an offer, please send photos of any front doors you have previously painted. 2. Prepare and paint the top only of a small mantelpiece (photo attached), inside 2 cupboards 3. Prepare and paint one bedroom window wall only (photo attached) some skirting boards & rectify a couple of poor paint lines. 4. Check batteries and ensure both doorbells and both remotes are working. 5. Assemble IKEA bookcases (photo attached once assembled). Buy any small missing parts if needed (to be reimbursed). 6. Buy some laminated board and cut to: * Complete shelving where shelf backs are missing. * Move one shelf lower to create more space for coats and clean the shelves. * Make 4 new shelves above the tumble dryer. (Photos attached.) 7. Hang a few curtain poles/rails, curtain holdbacks, small arms shelves/ shelf units , lights and pictures. 8. Remove urinal (actually simple) but also seal off.
