We're looking for an experienced engineered wood floor fitter to install approximately 45 m² of flooring across the living room and bedrooms of our ground floor flat in Battersea, SW8. We have already purchased the planks (~52 m² supplied to allow for wastage). Installation details: - Floating installation over existing wooden subfloor - Acoustic/thermal underlay required (at least one layer) — not yet purchased; open to fitter supplying or advising on spec - Existing skirting boards to be kept — white beading to cover expansion gap around perimeter - Threshold strips at doorways to bathroom, kitchen, and dining room (can be sourced as project progresses so to assess what's needed) - Door trimming may be needed depending on height difference — please flag in your quote What we're looking for - Proven experience with engineered wood flooring - References or portfolio of recent work - Itemised quote covering labour, underlay supply/install, and beading - Availability to start within the next few weeks

Approx 250 sq ft (kitchen and living room floor) needs sanding and new finish. The Kitchen, Living room and hallway are the areas with wood flooring. As you can see it isn't in a terrible state but may need retouching in some areas, also the areas under the white goods have never been varnished. Just to note that this is an old floor plan so as you can see from the pictures, there are now no walls between the kitchen and living room and the hallway, however the dimensions would be correct.

No work is to be carried out immediately, but the winning bidder will be prioritized for the actual job once completion happens in a few weeks. I am looking for a professional quote to restore an engineered hardwood floor (Nätura brand). The Issue: Localized black water stains from a pipe leak (see attached photos). The Job: Cut out and replace the damaged boards using matching spare packs (which are already on-site in the garage). Following board replacement, the entire rooms need a full dustless sand, seal, and clear coat lacquer finish.
