We're looking for an experienced engineered wood floor fitter to install approximately 20 m² of flooring across our two bedrooms of our ground floor flat in Battersea, SW8. We have already purchased the planks and the beading. I’m looking for an experienced flooring/joinery professional to repair a section of subfloor in a bedroom. The floor was previously repaired, but the contractor used a large board/sheet rather than replacing the original floorboards/planks. The repair is now uneven and the board has started to lift, so the floor is not suitable for carpet to be fitted over it. Job required: * Remove the existing board and inspect the area underneath. * Replace it with suitable floorboards/planks, matching the existing floor where possible. * Ensure the boards are securely fixed and supported. * Make the repaired area completely level and stable. * Leave the floor ready for underlay and carpet installation. I’m looking for someone with experience in subfloor repairs and floorboards who can complete the job to a good professional standard. Please provide an approximate quote and availability. Photos of the area can be provided.
