Hi, I’m looking for a quote for flooring work at my new flat in E15 2QB. I’m hoping to complete the purchase this Friday and would like the work done as soon as possible afterwards. I’d like: * Existing carpet removed from the bedroom and living/reception area * Existing wood/laminate flooring removed from the hallway * New light natural oak / sand wood-effect laminate throughout the bedroom, living area and hallway, ideally with good-quality acoustic underlay * Kitchen and bathroom flooring to remain exactly as they are * Existing wardrobe/frame structure in the bedroom removed before laying the new flooring * Existing flooring/carpet and waste removed and disposed of * All necessary thresholds/finishing included The whole flat is approximately 40.98 m², but the kitchen and bathroom are excluded from the work. There are a few damaged/loose sections, an old access section where the pipework is visible underneath, and some fairly large gaps between the boards around the kitchen. At this stage I’m not looking to sand or refinish the whole floor, as I’m planning a larger kitchen/floor renovation in the future. I’d just like to make the existing floor sound and practical to live with for now. For the wider gaps, I’m not looking for resin or sawdust gap filling. I’d much prefer a proper timber repair where possible — for example reclaimed timber strips/fillets, re-laying the affected boards, or replacing/inserting boards where necessary.
